POLITICS articles for this week: 1) Ed Miliband has announced that Labour would replace the House of Lords with an elected senate if they win in the general election. Were looking for 500/600 words on this. 2)Wales is to receive £2 billion for the third time from the EU in attempt to relinquish the countrys poverty. 300/400 words on this - whether this will help Wales or not. 3)Remembrance day/wearing poppies is increasingly politicised every year. 600 words on the controversies surrounding remembering war and politicians/peoples intentions when wearing white/red poppies. Alongside this, Ex-Veterans have formed an Anti War group and will be carrying a white poppy wreath and a banner saying war is organised murder to the cenotaph outside Whitehall on remembrance Sunday. Election officials (mostly Republicans) across American states have launched a program which removes thousands of minority voters, mainly Blacks and Hispanics, from voting registers. Wed like 600 words looking into the impact of colonisation to ex-British empire countries. Whether there are any benefits to a country being colonised/Is Boris Johnson just saying outrageous things all the time. 6) The Department for Education tweeted saying Nonsense to say schools must teach gay rights.
