Hello, everyone. My name is Donna and I am a recovering houndaholic. (People in group: Hello, Donna!) I adopted my first hound seven years ago. *shuffles nervously* And since then I have adopted another five hounds. *swallows* I always thought I could stop at just one hound. However, I adopted another to keep the first one company. Then my first hound Rex died from cancer. Then I had to adopt another to keep the second one company. I couldnt stop myself from looking at profiles of hounds up for adoption on websites. Before I knew it, I had adopted my fourth hound Molly who was aged 10 and a half years because I thought no one else would. In between all these adoptions, I was also fostering hounds. I tried to hide my addiction from my family. They didnt know my hounds names when they came to visit. When Miss Molly died from cancer after only a year, I adopted the foster that I had at the time. I started sewing hound coats. I spend more on food for my hounds than for myself. They have better clothes than I do. Despite having three hounds still at home, I was still looking online. Just looking. Then just before Christmas, I saw that the sister of my ginger girl was up for adoption at age 8. I picked up the phone immediately. I have four hounds now. I have trouble getting in my own bed at night. I am a houndaholic. *wipes sweaty red face and walks off podium back to her seat*
