Hello everyone, Thomas Gardner here, one of the writers for Doctor Who: Generations. As you may well know, it can be difficult writing an episode which has to keep up with a very popular series. So, it does take a while for episodes to be written. Nevertheless, I wish all those who have sent us applications good luck and hope that one of your scripts are chosen! I am currently writing episode 2, which will follow directly from the events of episode 1. But, in my writing, I like to take darker turns with plots and storylines. I find it more of a watch to see something which turns out programmes which make you think and give your own opinion as to how it might turn out, and revealing the complete opposite of the viewers intentions. The episode currently being written is to begin production sometime in October and I have the pleasure of announcing the following: I am writing a part - which will consider screen time of up to 2 to 3 minutes or maybe more - and Im giving one of you the chance to take that role on and become a cast member for episode 2 (it might be possible this role will be further extended throughout the series). It is a love interest for our companion, Hannah. So, if you are wishing to apply to play this role (sorry ladies, but its a male role) then send us a CV and well sift through applicants as quick as possible to determine who will become Roy (the name of the role). I wish you good luck once again and I look forward to be working with one of you in the near future. Best wishes, Thomas Gardner - writer for Doctor Who: Generations.
