Hello everyone. Today is probably the happiest day for April so far. I was gone much of the day to pick up Morrigan from band camp and then run home for a while. But she talked a lot for Laura and smiled and laughed a lot today. When I got back she was in a great mood and her ornery self. She did have a headache, but then after pain meds she gobbled up a whole plate of pasta provided by Tracey McDonough Dickson. Weve had a nice night laughing, hugging, and smiling at each other. Now shes sound to sleep. We are at the end of the tunnel with the inpatient rehab at CAMC. We are looking so forward to coming home on or by Friday and starting outpatient therapies. We have a few days to get the house straightened up for Aprils return. The pups will be so happy to see her and vice versa. Overall she has made great progress with speech and mobility, and each day a new goal is met. I can only imagine how much progress there will be in a year. Either way, I love her, and we all love her, and your prayers are being answered. I marvel at how close we came to losing her, and comparing that to where we are now. Praise God and His healing hand, and thank you for your miracle inducing continued prayers! Thanks to JeremyandTessa Wood for taking care of the yard today, and of course John Gunno and Tim Shamblin for their handiwork on the awesome renovations. Folks, I dont mind putting a plug in for them. If you need a contractor, please call them! Another plug too for our Lord Jesus Christ. What the enemy intended for evil The Lord turned into inspiration, and an example of what faith and prayer can accomplish. Please keep it going! We have a long journey still. We love you all.
