Hello everyone! You may have started to see campaign signs in increasing numbers around our respective towns! Early voting begins October 20 and Election Day is Nov 4. I hope that all of you are planning to vote! There are some rather important issues and offices being contested this time around, including, but not limited to: Texas Governor Lieutenant Governor Attorney General Transportation Funding [Proposition 1] 1 of our 2 US Senate seats Texas House seats and some local issues as well: KISD Bond Proposal Keller City Council There are likely others in NRH and Southlake. All that to say, it is important that we are informed and vote! Me and some of my friends from Keller have organized a Meet the Candidates Forum for the Keller City Council election. The Mayor, Mark Mathews; Dr. Randy Reid, KISD superintendent; and all three candidates have confirmed their attendance. Please come and listen to their words, shake their hands and take what you have learned and decided to the ballot box!
