Hello everyone…on Sunday I made a statement that although in context, it made sense - it left too much room for being misunderstood, and if misunderstood left lots of room for error in our thinking. The statement was that “We are not responsible for what we don’t know.” I was trying to convey what James teaches in that as we learn more we become more responsible in our need to obey what we know. Ie. To know we ought to do something and not to do it, is sin to us. Now, no one pointed this out to me, but it has remained as an itch in my head ever since the moment I said it. Considering that God might want me to make sure I’m clear about this, I send you today’s Soul Food entry. It will be worth the short amount of time it’ll take you to read it. If you want to go through the scriptures associated with the entry, that much better for your personal growth, understanding, and hopefully, obedience. portofgrace.org/Devotional/January%2022.pdf
