Hello facebook friends and family I am moving around a lot better today. I want to thank each and everyone of you for your calls, cards, prayers and flowers. Sometimes we are unaware of what we mean to others around us, well after this situation I know people love and care about me and my family. UPDATE I want to share something because it might just help someone. I had what some would consider a mild stroke, I got up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom my leg buckled and when I reached for the door knob I couldnt really grasp it. I thought nothing of this I simply thought I had slept on my arm and it was sleep or a little numb, I got back into the bed and went to sleep. There was no tingling in my arm, face or leg but when I woke up later I knew something was wrong so I had my wife bring me to the ER and within 20 minutes of being here the stroke symptoms started to occur. I am thankful to God that I came to the ER and didnt sluf it off. It was in fact a stroke. I do not have high blood pressure nor is my cholestorol higher than normal, my stroke was the result of a blood clot. I thought I ate healthy so now I will eat healthier, I was running a 5 k run monthly well I am going to step that up too because I dont want to come back here especially if there is something I can do to prevent it Keep me on the prayer list as I work towards getting myself together.
