Hello family & friends! :) Brennan has had 10 days off, so to speak, as we are headed into the next phase. He went for an x-ray on his back this week and all the results came out just fine! No issues that they can see. Brennan has chosen to go off of the blood thinner shots as his 6 months are up. His Dr. has mixed ideas about it, but we all decided that Brennan knows his body better than any of us. He has also been hearing some swooshing sounds when he stands up or does anything to cause his heart to pump harder than average. After talking with the Dr., she said that could mean that the line in his port to his heart might be altered. If so, he would need surgery to fix it. & no chemo, or other medicine for that matter, through his port. We have an x-ray scheduled for Mon. morning for his heart and also for his leg, (just to make sure there are no issues as he has been experiencing pain.) Since he has chemo scheduled on Monday to keep up with his phase, we are praying like crazy that his line is in place. Not to mention we really dont want to have to have another major surgery, by his heart, or anywhere! We will update as soon as we know and would appreciate prayers!
