Hello folks - greetings from the Eastern Cape province of South Africa! Im at Crown River game reserve, checking out the trails and facilities with the intention of putting a trail running safari package together in time. The hunting lodge at Crown River is 11km from Grahamstown, so it is well within easy driving distance for all the urban services. As you can see, the view from the verandah at the lodge is really something! I shot this video just after dawn on Monday morning, before heading out for an early run through the bush. Cattle on Mullaghmore beach are one thing, but antelope, kudu, bush pig, duiker and zebra are quite another! No buffalo yet, which is all to the good, given their reputation for moodiness... Ill keep you posted!
