Hello friends - Traffic management in Amritsar is not only chaotic but its on the verge of collapse. If immediate measures are not taken to stem the tide , the situation will spiral out of hands and then we will have only ourselves to blame.Towards that end,VOA is planning a small protest rally from Kichlu Chowk to Commissioner`s office for handing him over a memorandum regarding the police highhandedness in handling the traffic & Parking offenders. The rally takes off from Kichlu Chowk on 1st Aug 2014 that is FRIDAY at 9 AM and finishes at Commissioner`s Office with handing over of memorandum. All the members of Amritsar civil Society and various NGOs are requested to participate in this rally so that we can show solidarity to the police against erring officials. The content of memorandum is attached here. Please read and suggest changes.
