Well, Itll be wonderful if its not only in Seoul though Anyway, Im here to introduce Korean traditional clothes, Hanbok. Hanbok is simply speking, Korean traditional clothes. That is our countrys traditional clothes which combine straight line & smooth curved one. The female shows elegant beauty with short jeogori and enough skirt, on the other hand, the male dresses up with vest and an outer coat based on coat jeogori The basic color is white like Korean people and according to seasons & status, the way of wearing, clothing material and color was different. The commoner has dressed up with showy colored clothes and accessories the nobility used on a special ceremony such as wedding. The characteristics in Hanbok, the Korean traditional clothes are on their beautiful lines. Its merits are to be adjustable of its width easily and to let whoever puts it on be in shapeliness regardless someones body shapes. Its sensuous beauties such as their colors and patterns also are its merits. Moreover, Hanbok highlights its functional senses unexpectedly. It was made to human body lines with sewing so that it is very comfortable for someone to act freely. Hanbok is a very economic clothe. Anyway, There is a place where you can try hanbok in Seoul for FREE! Try on various types of hanbok costumes for free at the Seoul Global Cultural Center located on the 5th floor of the M Plaza in Myeongdong. Approximately 30 different hanok costumes are available for people to try on, in addition to various accessories and shoes. To participate, please visit the center on the day you would like to participate and make a reservation at the door. (Advance reservations not accepted). Occasionally on-site reservations may close at 1 or 2 p.m. if there are more than the usual number of visitors, so calling ahead is recommended.
