Hello hello, did you have a wonderful Saturday? What have you done? Can you believe I socialized today? Giggle… I am usually a very happy hermit but I had a lovely time. It helped that I was surrounded by fabulous crazy animal people so we spoke “dog” a lot. Well dog, cat and rabbit… my friends have a little pet bunny and I loved cuddling it on my lap. It is so precious. I wondered what Sheba and Sammy would do if we came home bearing a bunny but James didn’t think it would go well. :( My girls were thrilled to have us back… you would have thought that we had been away for weeks! I suppose it isn’t often that they are ever left alone for 4 hours. After much excitement and “hawoah”s (yes, Sheba is getting rather good at saying “hello”) they run off to find something to bring to us as little welcome home gifts… Sammy found a ball and in desperation all Sheba could find was a cat toy. They have had a long game of ball with The Dad and I just had to towel dry Sheba’s drenched face… she couldn’t help herself and HAD to get involved with the watering of the garden. It seemed as though The Twins (Arty and Lewie) hadn’t moved since we left but they did grace us with their presence now when we were outside. I am eagerly waiting of the photo of the little lost dog (see previous post). Having had a beloved old, deaf and blind dog in my Ali Bear (PIP), my heart goes out to the lady who lost her little dog. I am hoping that the stranger that picked her up dropped her off at a vet or will keep her for the night before getting her to an open vet in the morning. Poor little dog must feel so stressed :(. I am waiting for a photo and will post it as soon as I have it so that we can share it further. Well wishing you and your fur kids a lovely Saturday evening and a good sleep later. DD
