Hello new UoY music students! Congratulations for getting into York! Every year we start a new freshers page and before you begin at Uni its a great way to get to know a little about the people youll be studying with for the next few years. Feel free to comment on this page with your instrument/voice type and college - and feel free to ask any questions you may have before starting! So Ill go first: Hi, my names Tash. Im old, I actually shouldnt be hanging around freshers anymore, but Ive decided to stay at York and do a masters in critical musicology in opera. (I dont know what that means either). My first study was singing, voice type mezzo/alto and I lived in Vanbrugh College, Le Page. Im looking forward to meeting you all!
