Hello one and all...... Its getting close to berry season ...... But seriously; please, whoever is doing the rain dance.... PLEASE STOP ! We are hoping to open for the season a week from tomorrow. It will be Wed. July 2nd. If we are open that day the hours will be 8- 6 pm Central time... the following Wed. we will be open until 7pm and for the remainder of the season ( WED. ONLY) go to the web site for more information on our hours. But again, weather permitting... At present there are berries out there but most are still green. If we get some hot weather then things will really start to pop and the berries will come on strong. With all this rain, the berries are not getting the sun they need to ripen.... Also, lots of water at the farm. You would think Noah took up residents. We will start posting on a regular basis both here and at statelineblueberries ( not sure why the under link is in Spanish, the website was written in English and should be that way when you go to it.) The phone at the farm just rings. the answering machine is not on... we are doing some construction on the sales shed. ( so that Dean will not continue to hit his head and bust the light fixtures; like in the past). This will not hamper our opening. Please be patient with us.Hopefully if weather is good it will all be done by the time folks start to arrive.
