Hello sweet family of mine! Today, my heart is so full of love, sadness, grief, joy and.....awe and wonder all at the same time! First I heard from my son, Forrest. Today he was officially hired by Santa Clara Office of Education as a Special Education Substitute teacher....the first steps toward becoming a teacher for those amazing children! Then, a few moments ago I heard from our son, Michael Rains. Today....yes today, he was promoted as an umpire to Minor League baseball in the Florida Gulf Coast league! I can not tell you how proud and overjoyed I am! I know my sweet husband is rejoicing for our two boys! Its beautiful, how amidst such grief, victory can grow! God is soooo good! Im sobbing happy tears!,
