Hello to all of our Disputanta Animal Hospital extended family and friends. I have a case that could use some financial assistance/ contributions. A family was able to trap this injured kitten who had no functional use of his right front leg. It had been broken and something (rope, chord?) had wrapped around the leg and strangulated the blood supply and severed a large part of the skin , muscle and tendons. The front right leg was unfunctional.The kitten was a bit on the feral side when it was trapped and in need of medical care.Thanks to the hard work of a citizen and Prince Animal Control, we were able to successfully amputate the Storms front leg and give him a second chance at life. I was more than surprised at how quickly the kitten warmed up to all people and now is extremely affectionate.The family that found the cat were eager to adopt him. We did the surgery basically for our costs but we still need financial support so we can get this payed. So far, we have received some donations but anything would help at this point. We are in need of $400 .Our goal is to help as many animals as possible that are in the situations. This is why your contributions allow things like this to continue.
