Hello to all who are coming this weekend! We are finalizing menu plans for the weekend and I wanted to check in to see if there was anyone with specific dietary needs… Kimberly J. Pedersen Murphy, Leslie M. North, Timothy Niemann, Lori Cooper, Roger D Daugherty. Could you please let me know? Looking forward! Were going to start on Friday evening with finger foods and a hangout at Spillian -- we have some nice wine, beer, and spirits selections. Saturday, Im thinking we can get started slowly, explore/wander the trails at Spillian in the morning, and then go for either a hike or a visit into one of the local little villages in the afternoon. Saturday night, were planning a bonfire and a cookout -- weve got our friend and colleague Will Soter on hand (who runs Upstate Adventure Guides) to help us cook over the fire. Sunday morning, Im going to treat us all to breakfast at Jacks -- this is a true roadside attraction and one of the great spots in the area, and then take us on a hike nearby in the morning. We can also bring food for lunch, but Im guessing people wont be all that hungry after going to Jacks! :-)
