Helo, my name is KWANELE... on the 25th NOVEMBER 2012, I woke up in Hospital, after collapsing at work the night before. I had suffered a NERVOUS BREAKDOWN. Yes, Black Folk do get that too! The days to follow were something of a circus. I was unable to walk, and had to utilise a WHEELCHAIR for a few days. I discovered that the colour YELLOW makes me anxious and induces FITS. Then one Tuesday morning, I woke up UNABLE TO SPEAK, and have been suffering comically sporadic STUTTERS ever since! There were the INVOLUNTRY SPASMS of the head, that ONLY sparked in public. The INSOMIA, and all the medicines I had to swallow that litterally turned me into a ZOMBIE! And, to add insult to the injury I suddenly had BALD PATCHES on my head and started LOSING HAIR...nonetheless, I managed to wake up some days, wear my stilletos and a smile, and NEVER LOST MY HUMOUR!!! ...my name is KWANELE, I have DEPRESSION and ANXIETY. There are a lot of us out there, LET US BREAK THE SILENCE!!!
