Help! My pony has been an absolute nightmare to catch lately. Most days I bring him in and feed him - I dont ride every day as I havent had the time due to new work commitments (short term at the mo, so will go back to riding most days soon!), so he doesnt associate coming in with lots of work. His latest one is that he lets me get the headcollar over his nose and as Im about to put the strap over his head he runs backwards and gallops off. I cant even get near him with food! We took his field mates away and it still took three goes before we got him in! I am currently sat in his field after another unsuccessful attempt at bringing him his breakfast and a rug change! Any tips? The field doesnt have lots of grass in so its not as if hed rather stay out to eat and when he is in, its not for hours on end, either!
