Help me understand please. How does Obama and the democrats think that raising the economy will help stimulate the economy? Did none of them take macroeconomics? If you raise wages by 39% from the current rate everything will be more expensive!! Gas $5-6 a gallon, the $1 menu will be the $3 menu, the dollar store will need to change their name!! I normally dont like taking political rants on Facebook but why not focus on maybe doing something productive for all citizens in this country? Raising it will not help people get out of poverty!! Making $10.10 an hour will not do that, do not make a statement like that because if you know math and economics you know that is a lie. I have one full time job and multiple side jobs to make more money by choice. I worked for $3.75 an hour in 1989 so dont tell me you dont know what a small paycheck looks like. The average worker I know gets a 0 to 7 percent raise yearly and we are talking about a 39% raise. I really wish I didnt watch the news tonight. Feel much better now.
