Help with lyrics? Im teaching a choreo to the classic El Hantour. There are several lyrics online and I have a good idea about most of it but in the beginning theres two lines that confuse me: Hiss! and the choir answers Hader and then after a line Shee! and the choir: Mashi just before the rhythm starts. Im finding different translations... Are hiss and shee things that youd say to a horse? Somewhere hiss was translated as meaning to slow down or stop, somewhere as move and somewhere as come here... and is shee like an encouragement for the horse to start moving or speed up, would make sense since the song starts picking up just after...? Any help greatly appreciated!!!! Heres the beginning lyrics I found: Ya 3am! Ya 3am beta3a al-hantour ya mehantar Hiss! Hader. Yama nifsi arkab al-hantour wa athantar Shee! Mashi.
