Helwan kitten rescued and at ESMA shelter no. Picked up the sick kitten of helwan an hour ago and rushed to ESMA shelter , it was too late to get a vet open at such a time near helwan or Maadi. The kitten is very dehydrated, skin and bones, inflamed eyes, her temperature is 36.8 , when we arrived at ESMA samir the vet tech there took temperature and put her immediately on a heating bed , gave her fluids by the mouth, cleaned her eyes and ears and got the mud off her skin, he started also giving her yoghurt with honey by the syringe , she seemed more comfortable after this and is sleeping in her warm bed, I left her now and will go to ESMA tomorrow to check on her,I am following up with Bahra and Mona on her case too. Thanks to the young gentleman who did not leave her on the street and tried to save her .
