Henoc Zamudio, a correctional officer at Wasco State Prison, passed away Saturday following a battle with cancer. Zamudio, 38, was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer in February, and told he had just months to live. His family and Wasco co-workers rallied, raising thousands of dollars for Zamudios wife and children, and working to restore Zamudios 1949 Chevy Deluxe. A close friend of the family told ABC23: It is with deep sadness to share that Henoc Zamudio passed away early Saturday morning. Henoc was a loving husband, father, son and friend.
