Here Come the Judges! National Communities in Bloom judges Bob Lewis and Lucie Gagne arrive in Lambton Shores on Tuesday, July 30. For the following two days, they will be whisked from one wonderful sight to another from top to bottom across the municipality. They will meet enthusiastic community members, admire magnificent gardens, hear about innovative environmental activities, and much, much more. On July 30, the judges will visit Arkona and Thedford, ending up at the Legacy Centre for a Community Volunteer Reception. Volunteers from across Lambton Shores are welcome to attend the event, which begins at 7:15 p.m. The next day, the tour will include Kettle Point, Ipperwash, Port Franks, the Pinery, and Grand Bend. On August 1, the judges will tour Forest. Everyone can help Lambton Shores look its best for the tour. Before the judges arrive, make sure gardens and containers are tidy and bright. Join in the Trash Bash events in each community to do a final clean-up of litter – check the website for the nearest event. If you happen to run into the judges, given them a warm LS welcome.
