Here I am in the hospital with Grandpa last December. A month ago today was the memorial concert at Lincoln Center Out of Doors. I produced that entire concert, and the seven other events, from my 8 x 8 security guard booth. On Monday I start Columbia Social Work School to with hopes of becoming a mental health counselor to the people throughout New York City who are most in need. I am now asking you all a favor - will you donate whatever you can to cover the last remaining costs of Seeger Fest. Between financial and in-kind donations Seeger Fest cost well over a half million between the five days of events. I now need $3,500 to cover the following - free lunch to the South Bronx community, photographs - printing and framing costs for an exhibit that will continue being open to the public, dinner for the opening night, a videographer and equipment, and DJ equipment for Rocking the Boat and payment towards an additional producer that I promoted and hired at the last minute because his skills as a volunteer had become extraordinary.
