Here are just a few of the events coming up in November: 1. All-Church Prayer - Nov 4 Our All-Church Prayer service is this Tuesday, November 4 at 7pm in the Sanctuary. Pastor J.D. and Jame Swilley will lead us in worship, and Pastor Jackie will lead us in prayer. Please come to pray for the church, for our community, and for the world. 2. What Christ Church Believes and Teaches - Nov 7 & 8 The next What Christ Church Believes and Teaches Intensive Weekend will be Fri, November 7, (6:30pm – 9:00pm) Sat, November 8, 2:00pm in the Elevate Worship Center. The class covers what we believe as a church and is a requirement for serving in ministry at Christ Church. Please register online at ccnash.org 3. Alter Care Training - Nov 11 We are offering our Altar Care Training on Nov 11 at 7p in Room 130. This training is a prerequisite for those who desire to minister in prayer in our worship services. It is aimed to train, educate, and equip you for service. If you feel called to the Altar Care Team, are a member of the church, and have completed the What Christ Church Believes and Teaches class, join us. 4. All-Church Work Day - Nov 15 Coming up on November 15 is our All-Church Work Day. Join us from 8am-12p and help us take care of this beautiful church home God has given us. As a special thank you for coming out, our very own Royal Rangers are cooking up pancake breakfast (donations accepted). With the food and great fellowship, we know you won’t want to miss this! 5. Active Seniors Outing - Nov 15 On Saturday, November 15th, the Active Seniors have a fun outing planned at The Hermitage (Andrew Jacksons home). They will enjoy a tour of his home, the gardens, servants quarters, and have lunch together on the property. Space is limited, so please contact [email protected]. 6. Angel Tree Ministry Deadline - Nov 16 Angel Tree is a ministry that provides for Christ Church families with children 16 years and younger who are in need of a little help this year for their Christmas celebration. To nominate a child today and bless a child this Christmas, please email [email protected]. The deadline for nominating Angels is November 16th. 7. Come To The Table - Nov 21 & 22 This is your personal invitation to Come to the Table, Nov 21 & 22, a unique time of fellowship, worship and up-dating on the life and ministry of our church. As we are spending this month of November being thankful for the 65 years of ministry and celebrating our legacy, we also want to share plans for our future. There will be two opportunities to attend: Friday evening at 7:00pm for dessert and coffee, OR Saturday morning at 9:00am for bagels and coffee. Seating is limited, so reservations are requested. Our special guest this year is Jaimee Paul…with her incredible jazz band.
