Here are my requirements. Thinking along the lines of a social CRM vs. traditional. Not tracking clients vs. networking contacts, people visiting my site, wanting to participate, write for the site, etc. Requirements: Budget: Im a blogger just starting out. Not more than 30 to 40 dollars per month. Open source preferred providing its easy to maintain and setup. Integration with WordPress and Mailchimp (email marketing) or maybe an email marketing service built in, and gravity forms- WP plug-in to connect CRM with WP. -keep an up to date database -aggregating all of my contacts in one place- -Sources included: Gmail, Outlook, list building from WordPress web site- press contacts -separate categories int the database for each. -keeping the database up to date with most recent contact information - these might be tags in the CRM or subcategories. Abiility to sort database by tags or categories - Contacts I already have on hand, but their other information maybe incomplete. The CRM has a feature where it can search the web and find an email address- send a note asking the person if they would be ok to be added to my database. New people coming to my site, entering their information- automatically needs to be sent a double opt-in auto notification before being added to the list. Having the CRM query my list of 1st degree contacts on Linkedin for new additions, as well as adding the existing ones into the database under a tag or subcategory for LinkedIn -entering new followers on Twitter, and people who unfollow or retweet my content. Send a canned response with a welcome message to new followers. Another message to people who unfollow. -automation of postings to Twitter, LinkedIn, TSU, and FB- ability to determine best time of day to post based upon analytics -similar to buffer, Social Oomph I might be missing a few things if someone where to ask me additional questions.
