Here are some Fun Facts about the 1978 classic, Halloween: (1) Since the film was done on a low budget, Michael Myers white mask was a William Shatner mask spray-painted white. Shatner has since said he feels honored by this face. (2) When he created the character of Michael Myers, director John Carpenter set out to make it so that the audience would never relate to him. (3) The main reason that Donald Pleasance took a leading role was because he daughter Angela loved John Carpenters previous film, Assault on Precinct 13. (4) The original script was called The Babysitter Murders, and would have taken place over several days. (5) Actors considered for the role of Sam Loomis: Peter OToole, Mel Brooks, Kirk Douglas, Dennis Hopper and John Belushi.
