Here are some old pictures (plus some extras I found on-line) of Our candidate, Michael L Wassell as an active duty Marine! Some seem to think that Military Service doesnt give one any special experience or qualifications for public office; this campaign, the Wassell campaign, thinks otherwise! What other experience than military service, especially in wartime, gives one the calm, cool reserve to make the toughest of decisions under extreme pressure; to Judge the situation and act quickly and decisively when lives hang in the balance? When one has gone through such a horrific and character building experience, one gains a perspective inaccessible to civilians-like police officers and firemen that risk their lives for others and their brothers and sisters they work with-the perspective of knowing what it means to make life and death decisions, the knowledge of consequences of such decisions as well. It is ONE of the FUNDAMENTAL qualifications we should look for in any candidate for public office!! It truly shows how much one is willing to give to their Country and Community!! From The Candidate, Michael L Wassell 4 Judge: (Goes with 2nd and 3rd picture) On the beach during training exercise with my men, men that trusted my leadership with their lives if needed, men that knew I had the leadership skills, the courage, the sense of duty, the commitment and the honor to lead them into battle if necessary. I learned leadership here as a Marine Sergeant, not sitting behind a desk. (Goes with the fourth picture) Me with my M-16. I swore to uphold the Constitution and to protect this country. I swore my life to liberty, freedom and the American way. I continue to fight to make sure every citizen has those freedoms, all the freedoms guaranteed by our Constitution.
