Here are some pics of the venue for my new commissioned piece “Sea Power” at the Kochi-Muziris Biennale in Fort Kochi, India. My installation is in a room in Aspinwall House, an old trading co. building on the harbour. My windows overlook the river traffic, visually linking the designs inside and the boats outside. The piece was installed with the help of many volunteers, here shown helping put up one image that includes trumpeters derived from a C17th German print showing the Arrival of the King of Kochi.
