Here are some questions to ponder regarding todays message: What questions do you have about this week’s message? The idea of ‘Father’ means different things to different people. What does it mean, to you, to think of God as your Father? Community is often an invisible need. Have you ever felt the need for community? Have you ever found it? What has been your experience with community? What’s been positive? Negative? What barriers do you see in your life to community? There were two key truths discussed Sunday. 1) You can’t be a Christian by yourself and 2) You can’t grow in Christ by simply sitting in pews/chairs. How have you seen these truths in your life? Read Acts 2:42-47 Why do you think there was such a closeness in the early church that they were willing to sell their property to help others? Would it be possible for that kind of closeness to occur at FCC? What would it take? What does it mean to ‘rejoice with those who rejoice and mourn with those who mourn’ (Romans 12:15)? Are you willing to share your struggles and joys? Why or Why not? What things/connections/desires keep people from being totally committed to the Lord today? Do you struggle with these things? What victories have you had? What victories do you see in others at FCC? What is one thing you can do this week to move toward Intentional Relationships?
