Here are the statistics... But one must consider that this too, is "class" distinction & division. Which is in essence using the same small minded method the liberals use and manipulate to destroy any real unity in America. We are all human beings and all exhibit varying weaknesses due to environmental exposure. Much crime is the result of socio-economic conditions. I would wager that statistics of inner city white youth from poor neighborhoods with little education would mirror virtually the same percentages. But, to maintain political power the solution is not to alter the on the ground circumstance, but marshal support through pitting one race against another. I wonder what the Amish crime rate is these days ? (I`ll bet you could guess) SO it must be taken onto consideration the spiritual & moral foundation of a community as well. And cultural circumstance and family relations play a great role in influencing people in a positive way. But I do not believe politicians are actually looking for solutions, but looking for ways to retain power. Therefore things remain the same and the poor remain poor, the rich remain rich and the poor want what the rich have and crime continues. The real answer is to alter the conception of a human bring to where he no longer bases his life and actions upon acquiring material possessions to impress those around him. His value and worth are understood to be determined by characteristics other than that which can be owned.
