Here are two photographs of Andy Goldsworthy’s “Path,” 2012–2013, at different times this past year. The artwork is composed of a gravel path located on the east side of the museum. Beneath the gravel lies a snaking form carved by the artist in granite. It will be invisible during dry periods but will appear and disappear with fluctuations in precipitation and temperature, evoking a ghostly river through the woods.
