Here is a chance to see Tom Owings latest rant during Tuesdays - TopicsExpress

Here is a chance to see Tom Owings latest rant during Tuesdays City Council meeting after the speakers commented on topics not on the agenda. The first noteworthy item abut this clip is this rant never should have happened. It was not on the agenda and hes not allowed to just use up the time anyway he please. There is a protocol with public meetings that needs to be adhered to. Well, with the exception of Moreno Valley City Council meetings since Tom Owings has been aboard. Another reason to recall him. But lets put this issue aside for now and just focus on the subject of his rage. He is mainly upset with Craig Givens and Curtis Gardner, founding members of Concerned Citizens of Moreno Valley and organizers of the District 3 recall. He claims it is wrong for them to come to City Council meetings and make accusations about corruption that have not been founded as true. As you will hear, he claims they are conducting a kangaroo court. Richard Stewart will explain what it is if you arent sure what it is. Or are they just exercising their Freedom of Speech First Amendment Right and Tom Owings should shut-up? What do you think? For the record, I feel there are so many strong reasons to recall Tom Owings that the corruption allegations do not need to take top billing. Dont get me wrong. The corruption investigations are important, Im not certain if they qualify as the most important reason to recall Tom Owings. If you heard my comments last night, I feel Reason #1 is how he has overstepped his boundaries as a council member. Tom Owings also claims the recall is divisive and bad for business. What are your thoughts about that? Personally, I think Tom Owings is BAD FOR BUSINESSES in Moreno Valley. If you make it to the ten minute mark, you will hear Richard Stewart make some very valid points about the people feeling frustrated. Yes, Moreno Valley citizend do indeed feel very frustrated...and for good reason. His name is Tom Owings. I hope you take the time to give some sort of comments about using corruption as a theme to recalling Tom Owings. Or is there something else he said that you might have agreed with or was offended by. Inquiring minds want to know. Thank you. (P.S. I hope the sound is in better synch than it has been in the past.) The total length is 12 minutes.
