Here is a great song not from our time at 2001 Cassleman street but from our junior high days but still a great tune i wanted to share here. Anyway a West High memory i have of mine is our first day there which is 35 years ago this month. I was scared sh**less coming from a small school at Riverside Jr. High ( about 240 students) to a big school with over 1,000 students and this is even before the freshman came up the next year. I was terrible at making new friends and introducing myself so unintentionally i probably annoyed quite a few people and made some lifelong enemies so the first couple of months for me were rough to say the least. But eventually i felt at ease and enjoyed the rest of my time there. Just a few weeks after our graduation from West High i arrived at the receiving and outfitting barracks at NTC/RTC San Diego, California for navy boot camp. More then ever at that moment realized just how special family and friends are. Plus i thought of our days at West alot too and how i would miss them and all of you Wolverines.
