This review is from: Silent Impact: Stories of Influence through Purpose, Persistence, & Passion (Kindle Edition) After listening to a radio interview with Joe Schmit, i realized that the personal issues I was going through was most likely my own fault, why, because I suffer with negativity, a dark cloud that I could not seem to drag my self away from. His interview with Jaimie Hope was like a wake up call, the kick up the butt I needed. My problems were my own fault, my negativity was holding me back, a vicious circle I couldnt get out of. I immediately purchased the book, and found the real life experience of others within it, heartwarming and inspiring. So for the last two days I have consciously made an effort to be positive, to interact with others, to smile and offer to make the tea!. And you know what, it is already making a difference , i feel happier, people are talking to me, really talking to me, instead of the usual hello and move on. My only regret is the book wasnt longer, i could have read those stories for ever. When ever I start to slip, i will listen to the interview and re-read this book. It is now a forever book on my shelf.
