Here is a video shot this past Friday when Jerod and I went out to the hunting lease to shoot his 300 that I built for him this spring. We put a scope on it and was zeroing it in. We were shooting 147 grain FMJs, then switch over to what we hope to be our hunting round which is a 150 grain Nosler Ballistic Tip. I am using WIN296 powder in the load. Still working up the exact charge that we feel comfortable with. Next load will be using the chronograph to get the velocities. Right now we know the 147s are running around 1900 to 1920 fps. I know there are a few people who dont like the 300 BLK due to the fact of making mistakes and loading 300 BLK ammo in a 223/556 barreled rifle. Be sure we know the difference and keep the 300 and 223/556 seperate from each other. The 300 BLK is a great round to shoot and to develop loads for.
