Here is an example of some old implements you might have found in everyday use a couple of generations ago. The iron is a forerunner of todays electric iron, but much more primitive. And speaking of primitive, no not you Floyd, how about this wonderful old cast iron shoe stretcher? It would have been used in a cobblers shop, one size at one end, flip it, a different size. It is so heavy that it would make the best doorstop ever, and what a conversation piece! The third item will never last in the shop. It is a wooden milking stool, unheard of in this generation, but most necessary when milking by hand. Typically, three legs, solid, heavy wood, and all pegged together as seen on its top. In awesome condition, could easily be painted, but why would you?
