Here is an update from Wednesday 5:26PM from the San Diego County Registrar of Voters. A total of 8 votes were counted for Imperial Beach today. The total vote count is now 2194 (50.43) for me to 2157 (49.57) for my opponent. I received 7 of the 8 votes tallied. There are still outstanding mail and provisional ballots to count for San Diego County and it is not clear how many will be for Imperial Beach. It is not likely there are that many ballots left. But we must still wait and see to make sure every vote is counted. At this time I would like everyone to think about how we can come together as one community, one city and one IB regardless of the outcome of the election. Thanks for all of your support.
