Here is an update on the Class of 1975 40th Class Reunion. Ive been thinking about this for awhile, and its time to adjust a little. First of all, and those that have gone before know this, our reunions (save one, maybe) have always been a party and a celebration. At each of our reunions, attendance has never been an issue. The theme for this 75 Class Reunion is The Time is Right Now, which comes from a recent conversation I had with Roy Arimoto, wherein we discussed that the time for waiting for later or Ill wait for the next one has passed...there is no more waiting for later anymore...those days are over, weve got to do it now, while were all healthy and mobile. No excuses or putting it off for the next one. Get the word out, tell our friends, make every effort to be there. I have taken some heat in the past, unjustifiably, for How come you didnt tell so-and-so? Take charge of your reunion, as we will, and contact others. Secondly, we want this to go beyond the best reunion so far, so the Class of 75 will be reaching out to the Classes of 1974 and 1976, inviting them, and anyone else interested, to attend this party. This will also include our friends at JFK, Class of 75, particularly, but not limited to, those members in our Class Group. Many of them have participated in our reunions in the past; this merely makes it official. Now, the details: Weve made arrangements with Frasinerttis Winery and Restaurant frasinetti/restaurant.html to hold our reunion in the Summer, August 22, 2015. The reunion will be an indoor-outdoor event. It will likely be from 4:30 to midnight. There will be an 11 item buffet dinner, likely from 6:30-7:30. There will be DJ music. There will be wine tasting, likely from 5:30-6:30. Weve made an agreement with Bump City soulfunk4u/bio_bump.html to provide live entertainment from 8-11. Were about to make arrangements for photography & videography. We will make some contacts with some of our golfing classmates to hold a golf tournament, likely on Friday, August 21. As always, we will hold pricing to the absolute minimum possible, but expect the Reunion to be in the $50-60 range. Payment can be made down the line via PayPal or through the mail. Obviously we always want it to be affordable, but this stuff costs. We will have security personnel on-site. There will be no part-time ticket pricing, unfortunately, for those who want to skip dinner. Ill be posting this info later on Classmates, Classreport and Alumniclass. If you have questions, you can message me here or privately, or on Classmates classmates/places/school/Luther-Burbank-High-School/5790?startYear=1972&endYear=1975&miscj=CMHeader
