Here is an update regarding the problems that we are having with SSE. I have had a conversation with the Operations Director of SSE, who is not happy to say the least and was unaware of the amount of problems that we have experienced. As a result I will be meeting with several senior SSE mangers and Cameron Ferguson on Friday and will take a tour and look at several houses around North Muirton. We have also been in contact with John Swinney who is also fighting our corner and also speaking to the head of SSE, and I have a meeting with Bernadette Malone, the head of PKC next week. I would like some addresses of houses that have problems so that we can come round on Friday and have a look at the standard of work and what is outstanding. If some of you could PM me your address I will endeavour to get round to everyone with the team on Friday. I have now got people at the top to take notice and I explained to him that our contract is with SSE and they are responsible for ensuring that Cameron & Fergusson finish the work to a good standard. I also explained that the time taken to get anyone to listen, let alone fix anything is unsatisfactory. Enough is enough. I cannot say what will come out of this meeting but I will not except anything less than immediate action. I will update this page on Friday with anything I get from them.
