Here is how to check your EPF balance: You would need your payslip ready with you. Lets say your PF number is : KN/11394/NNNNNNN Last section could be 0123456 - a 7 digit numeric. I have shown here as NNNNNNN This PF number alone would not be enough to search for the PF account. You will need the establishment code for the company. To get the same, open following page: search.epfoservices.in/estt_search/est_search.php Against check box with description I also know the establishment code, enter the establishment number from the PF number. It is the second field in above mentioned number. i.e. in my case it is 11394 After clicking on search, you can view number of establishments with this code. Using the Name& address provided in the results, you can figure out the Region Code/ Office Code for the PF account. In my case, it is PY/BOM/0011394/000. Region Code is PY and Office code BOM. Now open the Member Balance form epfoservices.in/epfo/member_balance/member_balance_office_select.php Select the state and it displays list of offices in the state. Using the Region Code and Office code fetched above, select the Office in the list displayed below. It will take you to the Member Balance form. There provide Employee PF Account number in three fields. In my example, it is 11394 - 000 - NNNNNNN. Provide the exact name which is used to fill the PF form. You can provide your current mobile number to receive SMS with EPF account balance details after submitting the form. Hope it helps. I was waiting for this information since long time, hence shared it for likes of me.
