We should point out that every lighting complaint we send to the City is recorded on a map which is made available to city officials. The property in question, like many others, has multiple complaints going back to May. For the owner to say he has never heard of this issue until now is disturbing. We do as much as we can, but ultimately it is you, the public who can make the real difference by asking the city to take endangered species protection as seriously as they do yard debris and lawn maintenance citations.
