Here is my #ALSicebucketchallenge thanks to my sister in-law Jacqui Tondreau. Also thanks to my son Joshua for preparing the bucket full of ice water and then having it sit in our deep freezer for over an hour. Wow! that was cold. Here is a brief description of ALS. Please take time to do a bit of research to learn more about this terrible disease. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)—also referred to as motor neurone disease (MND), or Lou Gehrigs disease—is a neurodegenerative disease. It is characterised by muscle spasticity, rapidly progressive weakness due to muscle atrophy, and difficulty in speaking, swallowing, and breathing. One famous victim of this disease is Stephen Hawking. Now that my challenge has been met, I would like to challenge Aaron Marsh (hopefully Buearegard will do the pouring ;-) ), Bryan Flavelle, and our ATU Local 107 Union President Eric Tuck.
