Here is my attempt at contouring. Now I am not a make up - TopicsExpress

Here is my attempt at contouring. Now I am not a make up artist, never have and I doubt I will be but I enjoy learning about how make up can ENHANCE your natural beauty. I went onto pinterest (an obsession with me atm) and just typed in contouring. There are so many guides on there to help you. I liked the look of the one I chose as it was step by step and simple. I started off with my two bb creams in the cream and bisque shade. I used my fingers and dabbed on the cream shade first to the areas that need to be highlighted. I then used the bisque shade to the areas to be contoured. Once I was happy with where the bb cream was I used just an ordinary make up sponge to blend. It blended really well into my skin. I did need to add a bit more of the bisque bb cream to some areas like the side of my nose and my cheek bones. I then used my powder puff brush to do the finishing of the blending (I use this brush for so much.) I think you can see a difference in the shape of my face. Next time I will try it with the bb cream which is a shade darker called honey, and use this to contour as I think it would give a more defining effect for evening make up. I am happy with the results though for a day look. I finished off my look with 100% of Youniques products. I decided to experiment with a purple shade. Not bad for a first attempt at contouring. If I can do it any of you can do it. Message me if you have any make up requests or any questions. I think I may do a video of this soon. :)
