Here is my very FIRST short-story for Texas Tales from a Lone Star, aired on Channel Austin (Time Warner, AT&T U-verse). My show is a combination of short-stories, music videos, and short documentaries. It is centered around the theme of live-music in and around Austin, Texas - the live music capital of the world. In this first episode I focused on my music friends, most of whom are part of the North Shore Music Authority - the area around north Lake Travis. I mentioned as many as I could and put links to their websites to promote their musical endeavors. This is Short-story #001 - Texas Tales from a Lone Star - featuring the You Said My Name, bands Bohemian House 24 Hr. Worship Burn; the DeWayne Davis band @ Larrys Lone Star in Jonestown, Texas; and the White Truck band @ Rumis in Jonestown, Texas. Musicians or bands mentioned in this first short-story include: Teresa Rice Young Amy Oxford, Kenny Young, the You Said My Name band, DeWayne Davis, the DeWayne Davis Deluxe Band, John Bates, Sarah Bates, the White Truck band, Jim Gough Jr., Slim & the Phat Tones, Dawn Maracle, Dawn Maracle Entertainer, Tim Macik Erin Hudson Macik (one of my sponsors), David Sensat, Chris Paul Green, Chris Lambert, Ed Plant, Allen Kentfield, Michael T.
