Here is one that I hate to admit. Just because it is Organic Soup it may not be the healthiest for you. After a slight rise in blood pressure and swelling around the ankles, I took a closer look at the sodium content (a natural preservative) and was shocked. At 860mg per serving and two servings per can that is 1720mg at one meal I was consuming. The RDA for sodium is 2400mg. That leaves only 680mg for the rest of the day. Thats a lot of salt in one can so be sure and always check the nutrition facts for sodium content. Excessive salt can make you retain fluid and that can squeeze your arteries raising blood pressure.
