Here is some video of the people of Shekina singing this morning. We had a beautiful service, much like ours with lots of participation, sharing, and hugging and kissing :-) One grandmother gave me a big hug and then took my hands in hers and said with her whole heart we love you so much. I understood this to express the depth of love between our communities. So please receive this great gift from our sisters and brothers. After her sermon Pastor Ruth asked the congregation to come forward and lay hands on me to honor my ten years of ministry and to bless my next ten years. We sang Lord You Have Come to the Lakeshore and Ruth prayed. I cried. I felt in this moment all that God has done and all that God can do when we open our hearts. I wont mention how long this service was but even our longest service did not come close! ;-) Ill be home soon and I cant wait to see you!
