The shutdown is about the GOP/Tea Parties insistence on tacking the defunding of the ACA (Obamacare) onto the budget as they had planed months ago. This is part of their plan, its as simple as that. Read the overwhelming proof as to the cause of this dysfunction. Look at the list of offending parties. All of them must be punished. The best way of doing that is to speak with your vote and dollar. Do not ever again vote for any person who was a signer of the Meadows letter to Boehner. Do not buy any products produced by a company owned by the Koch Brothers. Call for the implementation of a Westminster style (NON-PARTISAN) Speaker of the House. Call for the censure of the Republican Party in general, and the Tea Party in particular for malfeasance, and breach of the public trust.
