Here is the Connect Ed message from earlier this evening. Good Evening Seven Oaks Families, As you have probably heard from your son or daughter, we were in a lockdown this afternoon. We received a phone call reporting a suspicious person walking on Mystic Oak Blvd. We immediately put the school in lockdown and the sheriffs deputies were on their way. The campus was secured by multiple Pasco County deputies while our students and staff remained safe in their locked classrooms. Deputies searched the neighborhoods and wooded areas in our vicinity while others were walking our campus to determine that we were safe and secure. The lockdown was lifted and we resumed dismissal. The students and staff did a wonderful job remaining calm and safe during our time in lockdown. There may be a Pasco County deputy presence in the morning during arrival to ensure our campus remains a safe and secure place of learning. As always we appreciate your patience and understanding.
